Givenchy Paris - Eyebrow Show - Review

I am slightly very obsessive over brows, as a beauty therapist waxing and shaping brows is probably one of my fave treatments to give. You can literally change someone's face with a well shaped and groomed brow. Brows really do frame the face. Since being emotionally scared by a woman threading half my brows off into a straight line (oh the horror) I do not trust my brows with anyone, I always do them myself.

When filling my own brows in I do favour using a powder and a flat angled brush, I think you can achieve a more natural look with this technique.

A few months back my favorite powder sadly had run out, so I opened the Givenchy Paris Eyebrow show pencil in shade 1 that I was given for Christmas to give it a try.

The pencil is quit hard, which I like. I don't want a soft pencil for my brows because it can be easily smudged & that gives the 'drawn on brow' look. Number 1 is the perfect shade for me. With little light stokes you can achieve a nice natural looking brow & it is so long wearing, by the evening when I'm ready to take my makeup off, my eyebrows look exactly the same as when I had done them in the morning.
Left side, natural brows.
Right side, filled in brows.

The packaging is lovely & sleek. It's double ended with a spooley on one end a pencil on the other & also comes with a sharpener, handy!

I would still say I prefer a powder on my brows but this is by far the best eyebrow pencil I have ever come across & I'm happily going to use this pencil until it turns into a short little nub.
The Finished Result
Are you an eyebrow fanatic like me? Whats your go to eyebrow product?

  2. Hi beautiful - I love your brows! I don't let anyone do mine either, nooooo way, ha ha ha! I'm obsessed with brows, a little too obsessed really. I over plucked as a teenager and made my arch so high, now they're just growing back I'm trying to tame it down a little, ha ha. I use powder and pencil! I just use a No7 brown eye shadow for filling in, then do my ends in pencil to create a sharper look.

    Fab posts, keep posting!
    Lots of love ✿

See that is where I do like using the pencil at the end of the brow because it really does look sharper.

  5. I like to use my Mac eyebrow pencil in stud. I use light strokes too to give me a natural look. I always get my eyebrows threaded and as long as my eyebrows are done and groomed I feel comfortable leaving the house without makeup. I've had a therapist once that threaded one eyebrow thinner than the other one lol!

  6. Why do threaders do it? Is it some sort of sick joke to them? Lol I feel very passionate about this subject. I was so upset after I had my brows massacred by that woman. Thank god they grow back.
Mac have a new brow gel crème that's been out for a couple months now, that looks v interesting.

  8. ahh your eyebrows look lovely! :)
I usually just use a light brown Rimmel eyebrow pencil but I tried a powder today and had lots of comments on them, I do agree they look more natural.
    Thank for the tip

  11. Your eyebrows are lovely. Mine are the bane of my life- I'm always attempting to grow them out but get flashbacks from unruly brows from childhood and end up getting get a bit pluck happy. I use a Rimmel pencil and eyeshadow to try and tame them!
