Lime Crime Velvetines in Suedeberry

I have wanted Lime Crime Velvetines in Suedeberry for THE longest time. It's like gold dust on makeup websites, always sold out.



One glorious day I was doing my usual makeup perv on love-makeup.co.uk & there she was, Suedeberry! AND on sale for £10.50! Obviously I made a swift order & when It arrived I actually let out a squeal of excitement.



Obviously you can tell that my expectations of this product would be rather high & boy has it meet them!

Suedeberry is such a bright vivid red that applies wet like a highly pigmented lipgloss & quickly drys to a velvety matt texture, not at all sticky on the lips. It is so highly pigmented that it does not budge! The only thing that made this lipstick even slightly budge on me was when I had a full meal & drinks, yet still it was only the tiniest amount from the inner lip that had faded. I am so impressed!

Even though the Velvetines are a matte finish, they are not at all drying on the lips, although if you are not used to a matte finish you may want to apply some lip balm.

Apply this product thinly, if applied in thick layers I have found it to really sit in the creases of my lips.
Gorgeous scent almost vanilla like, but not at all overwhelming or off putting way.

The packaging is extravagant & luxurious in a kitsch lime crime sort of way. The bottle itself is a frosted plastic round tube with a red screw on lid, very sleek looking.
I would say this is going to be one of my staple lip products in my make-up bag for summer. I am so hooked that I need to order the other shade 'Red Velvet' pronto!

I am wanting to try out a lime crime lipstick next, do you guys have any suggestions for nice shades? They all look so gorgeous it's hard to choose!

    I love lime crime products! I really want to try the more red one of these. Jaclyn Hill wore it in one of her videos & it looked amazing! Looks really nice on your skin tone :)
