Mac Objects Of Affection Pigments

I was deliberating as to whether I should post a review of this mac pigment set, as it seems to be near on impossible to get your hands on now in the U.K. Then I thought it may be useful as some of the pigments in the set are part of the permanent line & who doesn't like to oogle at pretty makeup pics anyway? I sure do!
'objects of affection pigments pink + rose' were part of Mac 2014 Holiday collection. It consists of 1 glitter (4g) & 4 pigments (2.6g), pigments of this size are available to buy individually as part of the new 'sized to go' range by Mac costing £10 each. This whole set of 5 cost just £26, total steal! I had always wanted Tan & Rose pigment so the fact that I got 3 other 'sized to go product' for £6 (in theory) is amazing.
Whisper Pink (pigment) – soft beige pink with pearl, quite chunky to apply.
Tan (pigment) (permanent collection) – muted pinky brown bronze. Metallic finish smooth texture.
Rose (pigment) (permanent collection) – rose with copper sparkle, similar chunky texture to 'whisper pink'
Reigning Riches (glitter) – copper glitter with small glitter particles. listed as not safe for usage around the eyes or lips.
Heritage Rouge (pigment) – dirty brown plum, with a satin finish, amazing pigmentation & applies extremely easily.
The two chunkier shades aren't as easy to apply as the other pigments, so having a dense brush like the mac 224 is handy & of course using your finger to press the pigment onto the lid is always a good method.
Pigments have many uses depending on the shade. You can mix them in with your body lotion or facial moisturiser for luminous looking skin. You can also mix certain shades in with your liquid foundation, use as a Highlight ( the shade tan & vanilla are fab for this). mix in with your lipgloss to add a shimmery finish & lastly mix with nail polish to alter & intensify the chosen shade.

Oh and I can't forget to mention that the black glittery packaging is utterly adorable & I will most definitely be keeping it on display on my vanity desk!

Did you manage to pick anything up from the 'objects of affection' collection?
