Decadence* is like nothing I've ever smelt before from Marc Jacobs. His most popular scents are usually girly & sweet while Decadence is distinctly sexy & sophisticated.
The fragrance opens with sultry top notes of Italian plum, iris flower, and saffron. The heart opens with luxurious notes of Bulgarian rose, jasmine sambac, and orris. Base notes of vetiver, papyrus woods, and liquid amber.
For his first 'mature' scent he has hit the nail on the head with this one, it oozes glamour. This is without even mentioning the stunning bottle. A black tassel hangs from a golden chain that is attached to the deep green python print cap, the bottle itself is emerald green. Magnets secure the cap so the bottle can be carried by the chain, making your own mini Marc Jacobs bag.
I would most definitely say this is a evening perfume & trust me that this is what I will be smelling like all Autumn/Winter long.

Wow this looks lovely, the only Marc Jacobs perfume I know is Dasiy, so would love to try another! :)

I like Marc Jacobs scents, but this is by far one of my favourites! It's just a very grown up scent, and bottle which makes a nice change to be honest for his scents. :)
