I was tagged by the gorgeous Chloe of Clo's Beauty Spot to do the Skincare tag. If you haven't already go & check out my fellow Essex girls blog and her skincare tag :)
Here we go;
Describe your skincare routine in 5 words:
Cleanse, Tone, Eye cream, moisturise.
Every morning & night I will cleanse my face using Cetaphil Gentle Skin Cleanser (see review here)
Tone using Clarins Toning Lotion With Iris, mine has just run out & budget wouldn't allow me to repurchase so I picked up Simple Pore Minimising Toner & so far I like it.

Apply Simple Age Resisting Eye Cream around eye area using my ring ringer in light patting motions.
Lastly apply my fave face cream Clarins Daily Energizing Cream.
I use a face scrub once or twice a week, never more than that.
What’s your skin type?
Normal to Combination
Top Blemish Zapper
I have always been super lucky that I don't suffer with spots, when I do get the odd one I put some toothpaste on it & leave on over night to dry the sucker out. I recently discovered the a dap of blistex original really helps to dry spots out too.
Face Wipes, yay or nay?
NAY! It pains me to see women only using face wipes to remove there makeup. After using a wipe, cleanse & tone & you will see so much more makeup & dirt being removed from your skin. Face Wipes do absolutely nothing, but take the surface layer of makeup off.
Toner, yay or nay?
The women in my family have always cleansed, toned & moisturised so I naturally picked up this routine. For some women toner is the forgotten step of removing makeup, but it is so important. It removed the last dregs of makeup & the closes your pores after cleansing, & prepares the skin for moisturiser.
High-end skincare or high-end makeup?
Ahhh that's so tough! But I do tend to use more high end skin care than makeup (when my budget allows).
What’s the most unusual skincare product you've tried?
I don't think I've tried anything to 'out there'.
Tell us your top skincare tip
Follow the three steps of cleanse, tone & moisturise. After doing this for a week or so you will soon see a difference in your skin, it's so worth it.
Also drink lots of water to keep your skin hydrated & in turn this flushes out toxins & helps to prevent spots.

Thank you so much for tagging me! I will definitely do this as I've recently uncovered some skincare winners I've been wanting to share! Toner for me is something I haven't done in years but recently started doing again and WOW - I have been missing out! My skin felt "happy", if that makes sense, after 1 toner use! So I completely agree with you - it's quite important! And yes to water! It makes such a big difference! Hugs, chickadee!
