Sephora 'Formula X' nail polish in the shade 'Impeccable'

If you read my last blog post you will know that last month my boyfriend & I enjoyed a weekend get away to Paris. You will also remember how over come with excitement I was when we came across the mother ship to all makeup lovers, Sephora! 

Amongst the many other items on my Sephora wish list, was a 'Formula X' nail polish, as they have such rave reviews.

I am really into nude nail polish at the moment so I opted for the shade 'Impeccable' which verges on the browner side of a nude. 

There were many shades to pick from & I picked 'Impeccable' . So first things first I obviously love the shade & it applies to the nail true to colour. The formula really reminds me of my fave polish brand o.p.i. One heavy application & you can call it a day, or with my preferred method of two thin coats you get a flawless opaque finish. The drying time is very much the same as o.p.i & Essie etc. 

The one big disappointment for me is the longevity, I will paint my nails in the morning to find by the evening that they have chipped. The longest this polish has lasted me with out chipping is one day, pretty poor show. As it is such a gorgeous colour I have been over looking the fact that I need to paint a fresh coat nearly everyday.

So to round up, lovely colour,  great consistency with an opaque finish but the longevity really let's it down.
