The Creme Concentre lotion is a 6 in 1 product; moisturiser, makeup primer, repairing mask, makeup remover, after shave cream and a baby care product.
The ingredients are of natural origin, rich in essential fatty acids and vitamins. The rich cream feels so amazing to apply to the face it instantly makes my skin feel nourished and like you're doing something good for your skin.

Maybelline Baby Skin Instant Pore Eraser Lightweight Primer

If you're a regular reader of my blog you will know that I am huge fan of the Smashbox photo finish primer, well it seems that Maybelline baby skin may have taken over the number one spot.

Maybelline baby skin primer is a silicon based clear gel. When applied to the skin it makes it feel super soft & can be easily blended into the skin (I use a pea sized amount for the whole face). It immediately blurs my pores, mattify's my skin and smooths over dry patches. So for a day when you don't want to wear makeup but need a little something on your face to blur imperfection & give you skin a boost this does the trick.
When using baby skin as a primer, I like to let it rest on my face for a minute or so until it sinks into my skin & I can see the true effects of the primer. The primer helps for a smooth foundation application & a even finish.
For the price of just £7.99 Baby Skin primer has really wowed me, it's not a miracle worker but it is pretty amazing for the price. It doesn't make my foundation move around, get oily or patch up in dry areas as some would think a silicon based primer would do.
I really do struggle to see a difference between this & the smashbox photo finish primer, which is a lot more money than the £7.99 you pay for the Baby a Skin primer.

NYX Jumbo Eye Pencil In Milk

NYX jumbo eye pencils are a multi-task product, that can be used as an eyeliner & double up as an eye shadow. There are 28 shades available, I own 'Milk' a bright white shade.
Milk is NYX most popular shade in the eye pencil line. The same as all white liners, when used on the water line it gives the elusion of wider eyes, but the main selling point of  'Milk'  is that it also doubles up as an eyeshadow base.

When used as a base it intensifies the colour of any shadow applied over it  & makes the eyeshadow shade true to colour on the skin (see pictures below) also increasing the lasting power of your eye look.
The pencil is made with a blend of mineral oil & powder, so is creamy & easily blended into the skin, my preferred method of application is to draw & cover my eyelid with the pencil & use my ring finger to blend into the skin.
Here are some swatches of some random shadows to show the intensity of them when used with 'Milk'
Top - Plain shadow
Bottom - With Milk as a base

All of this in one little stick that costs just £5, pretty darn amazing I say.

Have you tried any of the NYX jumbo eye pencils?

It's Your Prime - Smash Box Primer Review

I have never had much luck with foundation primers. The primers I have tried in the past have often made my skin very oily, causing my makeup to slide right off, but I have never lost hope, & have always been on the hunt for the perfect primer.

I had heard so many great thing about smash box primers, so decided to give them a try. I went onto there uk website and took a look at there wide range of primers (wow they have a lot to choose from) I decided on the 'Its Your Prime' miniature travel sized primer set. Containing a photo finish foundation primer, a photo finish lid primer & Hydrating Under Eye Primer, which is fairly new to the smash box primer collection. For just £14 I thought I would be able to trial these products to see if they work for me before I buy the big ol' bottles.

Photo Finish Foundation Primer - A clear gel like consistency that makes my face feel super soft and smooth. On my fairly sensitive skin it works well & boy does it make a difference to the longevity of my foundation. It stops foundation gathering in dry patches, makes foundation application smooth and easy, and my foundation lasts so much longer. I am hooked on this product & will definitely be buying a bigger bottle of this when the mini one runs out.

Photo finish lid primer - I don't think this evens out the skin tone on my lids but it most definitely does help with the staying power of my eyeshadow. Using this has made me realise that lid primers are a god send, but I'm not so convinced that I will be buying one from this brand again.

Hydrating Under Eye Primer - This product gives my under eye a healthy dewy glow, I can't say this helps with the longevity of my under eye concealer, But if you are looking for a youthful under eye glow, this is a great product for you. As it is infused with anti-ageing, ingredients such as caffeine, peptides and optical diffusers, claiming to Hydrate skin, cover dark circles, reduce puffiness, blur fine lines and wrinkles, improve skin texture & skin tone.

Here is the direct link to Its Your Prime for £14 I think this is such a good deal.

What are your favourite primers?
