Stop Makeup Melt Down With Skindinävia Original Setting Spray

The intense heat we've been having here in the UK does not bode well for us makeup lovers.

Melting lipstick, watery lip gloss, patchy bronzer, foundation melting down your face, the list of makeup horrors are endless.

' Dundahdahdunnn'!! Enter skindinavia original setting spray.

This has honestly been a life saver for my face this hot summer! In heat my makeup normally matches the list of horrors above, but not when I use this setting spray, my foundation, bronzer, blush, eyeshadow all stays put with this spray.

Apart from getting a sweaty dewy T-zone which in this heat is pretty inevitable I think, this spray prevents makeup looking patchy & fading.

How I apply skindinavia setting spray is simple. I do my normal makeup routine & when I'm finished, simply spray the product across my face to set my makeup in place.

This product is also good for those times when our face may look a bit too powdery (come on we've all done it, nobody's perfect) give your face a spritz & it breaks the powder down giving a natural looking effect.

The spray is a lightweight fine mist that when drys you can not feel it at all.
Unlike some setting sprays that are filled with ingredients that aren't great for our skin, skindinavia sprays are, Hypoallergenic, Oil free, Paraben free & Non Comedogenic.

I know, it really does sound to good to be true. I was so amazed by this product I had to find out how it worked, what was the science behind it?

Here is what Skindinavia have to say -

The COOL science behind Skindinävia: Skindinävia's patented technology forms a lightweight, breathable web on top of your makeup that slowly releases over 16 hours. The timed-release evaporation retains moisture longer while also drawing heat away from the skin as it slowly evaporates throughout the day. The results are fresh, cool makeup for up to 16 hours.

Skindinavia have a whole range of setting sprays to choose from -

Original - Best for normal and/or combination skin. Keeps makeup vibrant without touch ups.

No More Shine - Best for oily and/or combination skin. Keeps makeup looking fresh while controlling excess shine.

10 Years Younger - Best for mature skin. Makeup surface stays smooth and hydrated, keeping out of lines and wrinkles.

Moisture Lock - Best for dry skin. Moisture loaded formula keeps makeup looking vibrant all day.

Bridal - Extra strength finishing spray with a glow that holds makeup in place for special occasions.

Available in 2oz, 4oz & 8oz.

I had to share this gem with you all.

    1. I have combination skin & find that the original works great for me, but they do have 'No More Shine' setting spray that would probably be better for just oily skin types. xx

  5. I love the Skindinavia makeup setting spray. It's my favorite brand for setting sprays. The others I've tried make my skin FEEL like they have a spray on them. This one feels like nothing is there but keeps everything in place :)

  12. Hi Megan, had a fab time in Zante - went to Cherry Bay Bar and it was really good from what I can remember haha!

I've been looking to try a setting spray as I'm yet to try one. This one sounds great, I hate the matte look on myself but makeup sliding all over isn't a good look. This would be perfect.

    Hope you're having a good summer x
